About Linda

Linda May Grobman, MSW, ACSW, LSW, is the founder, publisher, and editor of The New Social Worker magazine, as well as editor of the Days in the Lives of Social Workers book series. She has direct social work practice experience in mental health, medical, and organizational settings. Linda served as a staff member of two state chapters of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) before becoming a social work publisher. She has special interests in social work ethics, self-care, and social work career development. Linda holds a Bachelor of Music (Music Therapy) degree and a Master of Social Work degree, and completed training in therapeutic bedside music with the Music for Healing and Transition Program (MHTP). She was named the 2014 Pennsylvania NASW Social Worker of the Year and is an NASW Social Work Pioneer®.
